Zungaron was discovered by Sethra Lavode, who used Iceflame to locate him (or rather, his Great Weapon) and then decided to train him as a Lavode.
Is this correct? The Desecrator suggests that Zungaron was already being trained by Sethra Lavode when he met Nightslayer.

Name[]
Why, when in his in-book appearances, he is consistently called Telnan has it been decided to refer to him by a name he gives Vlad exactly once, as what he may someday perhaps be called instead.
In Dzur he is Telnan. In Lyorn, Sethra Lavode calls him Telnan. Unless or until he becomes Zungaron, the page should refer to Telnan.
- This came about mostly due to the fact that the first time the character is mentioned, in "Issola", this is the name given to refer to him. Hence, the article was created under this name, and his other name has been treated as an alias, of sorts. The implication being that his "true" name will be Zungaron when he comes into his full inheritance. Proposing that this article be named "telnan" is akin to proposing that an article about the lifecycle of butterflies be titled "caterpillars", just because we haven't seen the end of the process yet. That, at least, is my opinion on the matter. --Majikjon (talk) 03:02, 20 August 2024 (UTC)
