I'm wondering if perhaps this page should be moved to a new name - perhaps "Kelly's Collective", thus emphasizing its socialist origins and ideals, and making it easier to disambiguate it from the Jhereg Organization. Any other thoughts for or against? --Davdi 00:38, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
- Hmm... I'm pretty sure "Collective" doesn't work. The members of Kelly's Group did not really act as a collective, and they are nowhere referred to this way in the texts. Perhaps just "Kelly's Group" or maybe "Kelly's Movement"? Both of these are used in the text, but I think "Kelly's Movement" works better. --Majikjon 06:26, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
Note: Making this change will impact a great many pages. (Not that it's not doable, just that if we make a change now, it'd be a good idea to make sure it's something we can all live with.) --Majikjon 16:40, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, I kinda figured that. I used the "What links here" on the toolbar to figure out just how many pages that is (serendipitously enough, there are 17). I don't think it would be that difficult to change those links.
- I think I may agree that "Movement" is better than "Collective". I definitely prefer "Movement" to "Group" - a group is just some people; a movement is a group of people that are determined to do something that affects society at large.
- I'm still mulling over whether to make the change.

- Okay, so I went ahead and did it. Wasn't too terrible to update everything, so if people decide they don't like it, we can talk about changing it again. But I think this works pretty well. --Majikjon 19:09, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- Cool, thanks.
- I wanted to re-read Teckla and Phoenix a bit first, but I think this works well enough.
