The largest city in the northern part of the Dragaeran Empire. Northport is actually on the west coast of Dragaera, near the Kanefthali mountains.
Once a major shipping hub, Northport (like many places) was decimated by the effects of the Interregnum. Unlike Adrilankha, however, Northport is still struggling to regain its footing.
While it is the closest port geographically to Greenaere and also ships goods to Elde Island, it is distant from the main population and shipping centers in Adrilankha.
Northport has no large university, and recently underwent something of a recession after the death of Fyres, during which several local banks went into surrender of debts, and even more went into a hold of purchase. (See Orca)
