In Dzur, Zungaron tells Vlad that he thinks his current name, Telnan, means student but that he isn’t sure. The word Telnan bears a striking similarity both in sound and meaning to Ancient Greek τέκνον (teknon), or child.

The word famously appears in the possibly apocryphal last words of Caesar: “καὶ σὺ τέκνον;” (“Kai su, teknon?”) meaning “Even you, child?”, a line that Shakespeare renders as “Et tu, Brute?” in his play, Julius Caesar.
