The House of the Iorich is one of the seventeen Great Houses of the Dragaeran Empire.
The house of Iorich is tasked with running the justice system of the Empire.
The large majority of (if not all) justicers and advocates are Iorich (we have never seen reference to any member of either of these professions who are not). The Iorich Guard guards the prisons in the Imperial Palace (which are located in the Iorich Wing). It is unclear if members of the Iorich Guard are recruited from members of House Iorich, or if these include members of other Houses (as the Phoenix Guard does), however.
The Iorich character is one of a passionate quest for justice and the rule of law.
